Urinary incontinence: is the involuntary leakage of urine.  In simple terms a person urinates when they do not want to!

This can be caused from many things but the most common is giving birth to 1 or more children.  I know many of you reading this are shaking your head in agreement!  An estimated 30% of women between the ages of 30-60 are thought to suffer from it.

Additional causes: Pregnancy, childbirth, menopause (due to decrease in estrogen causing muscles to become weaker), a hysterectomy, age and obesity.

In my experience this seems to be way more common than an estimated 30%.   Maybe that is due to our population of patients being majority pregnant and/or moms of multiple children.  With that being said, incontinence is not normal and it can be treated with a non-invasive approach!

The treatment will take about 60 minutes and is all external.  The amount of treatments will depend on how your body heals and reacts.  You may only need 1 session or you may need 6!  I recommend scheduling at least 2 sessions no more than a week apart to start with.  After the first treatment we will have a better idea of how your body will tolerate the treatments.

I know many of you will ask, this is a non-covered service.  What does that mean?  It means your health insurance does not cover it and we will not bill it to you insurance.  For additional information on pricing and or scheduling, please give us a call!

Testimonials:

"I can not thank Dr. Iman enough! As many women know, having children weakens your bladder. I have done exercises to try to combat this issue for years with no improvement. I had one pelvic manipulation treatment that decreased the # of times I had to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom (2-3 to just 1 now). After my 2nd treatment I notice less bladder leakage while at the gym. I am excited to see even more results after the 3rd treatment."
